Disabling HTTP Proxy

Communication between AHV Backup Proxy and Veeam Backup & Replication is not possible through an HTTP proxy.

For instructions on how to remove HTTP proxy configured on the Nutanix AHV cluster, see the Configuring an HTTP Proxy section of the Prism Central Guide.

If the WinHTTP proxy is enabled on the Veeam Backup & Replication server, you must disable it to allow communication with the AHV Backup Proxy VM:

  1. Check if the WinHTTP proxy is configured on the Veeam Backup & Replication server. Launch CMD as administrator and run the following command:

C:\Windows\system32> netsh winhttp show proxy

Proxy Server(s) : http://httpproxy.local:8900

  1. If the WinHTTP proxy is configured, run the following command:

C:\Windows\system32> netsh winhttp reset proxy

Current WinHTTP proxy settings:

Direct access (no proxy server)

I want to report a typo

There is a misspelling right here:

I want to let the Veeam Documentation Team know about that.
