Overview

Before you configure failover plans in Veeam Availability Orchestrator (VAO), you must categorize VMs into VM groups. These groups will be used in VAO failover plans.

Overview

Categorization is performed in Veeam ONE Monitor, a component of the embedded Veeam ONE server. The embedded Veeam ONE server is installed with the VAO server, and is responsible for gathering VM inventory details, VM properties and tags. This information is further used for organizing VMs into VM groups.

To categorize VMs into VM groups, you do not need to configure Veeam ONE Monitor settings or connect virtual infrastructure servers. All servers connected to VAO automatically become available in Veeam ONE Monitor. All groups created in Veeam ONE Monitor are automatically displayed in the VAO UI.

I want to report a typo

There is a misspelling right here:

I want to let the Veeam Documentation Team know about that.
