Step 2. Create the Protected VMs Report as the User

Create the Protected VMs report as Mark Green to check that its scope is limited to VMs within Mark's resource pool.

  1. Launch Veeam ONE Monitor Client.
  2. In the authentication window, specify the name of the server where the Veeam ONE Server component runs.
  3. Clear the Use Windows session identification check box and specify credentials of Mark Green.
  4. Click Connect.

Step 2. Create the Protected VMs Report as the User

  1. In Veeam ONE Monitor, open the Infrastructure View and select the Virtual Infrastructure node in the infrastructure hierarchy.
  2. On the toolbar, click Reports and choose Backup reports > Protected VMs.

  1. To log in to Veeam ONE Reporter, provide Mark Green's username and password in the Credentials window. Click Login.

  1. Veeam ONE Reporter will display parameters for the Protected VMs report. Change the report parameters if required and click Create Report in the Actions pane on the right.
  2. Check that the report scope is limited to VMs within the resource pool owned by Mark Green.

  1. Switch to the second report page and check the backup state for VMs in the resource pool.

  1. Switch to the third report page and check the list of unprotected VMs in the resource pool.
