Before you start using VMware vCloud Director in the Veeam Cloud Connect infrastructure, consider the following prerequisites and limitations for vCloud Director support:
- Veeam Cloud Connect supports VMware vCloud Director 8.0 or later.
- To use VMware vCloud Director in the Veeam Cloud Connect infrastructure, both the SP and the tenant must run Veeam Backup & Replication 9.5 Update 4 or later. Earlier versions of the product do not support this functionality.
- If you plan to add more than one vCloud Director server to the Veeam Cloud Connect infrastructure, make sure that names of vCD Organizations and Organization user accounts are unique within all vCloud Director servers. Configurations with multiple vCloud Director servers that have identical Organization and Organization user account names are not supported.
