    Detailed Description

    This cmdlet rescans the selected HPE 3PAR StoreServ storage volume(s) to synchronize the storage system infrastructure with Veeam Backup & Replication.

    Rescanning discovers new or checks for deleted snapshots.

    Veeam Backup & Replication runs rescan automatically every 3 minutes. You can perform rescan manually if you want to display the newly added or deleted snapshots.

    Run Sync-HP3Storage to rescan the HPE 3PAR StoreServ storage.

    Example

    This example shows how to rescan a selected volume.

    1. Run Get-HP3Storage to get the storage and save it to the $storage variable.
    2. Run Get-HP3Volume with the $storage variable. Save the volume to the $volume variable.
    3. Run Sync-HP3Volume with the $volume variable.

    PS C:\PS> $storage = Get-HP3Storage -Name "HPE 3PAR StoreServe Storage"

    PS C:\PS> $volume = Get-HP3Volume -Storage $storage

    PS C:\PS> Sync-HP3Volume -Volume $volume
