    Detailed Description

    This cmdlet rescans the selected HPE StoreVirtual storage volumes to synchronize the storage system infrastructure with Veeam Backup & Replication.

    Rescanning discovers new or checks for deleted snapshots.

    Veeam Backup & Replication runs rescan automatically every 3 minutes. You can perform rescan manually if you want to display the newly added or deleted snapshots.

    Run Sync-HP4Storage to rescan the storage.

    Example

    This example shows how to rescan a selected volume.

    1. Run Get-HP4Storage to get the storage and save it to the $storage variable.
    2. Run Get-HP4Volume with the $storage variable. Save the volume to the $volume variable.
    3. Run Sync-HP4Volume with the $volume variable.
