PowerShell

Epic EHR backup & restore — This release adds PowerShell support for Epic EHR protection on InterSystems IRIS, enabling scripting and automation of deploying the required components, automatically discovering IRIS instances/volumes, and configuring the dedicated IRIS backup policy. With PowerShell now available, you can also automate restores (to the original or custom location) from either storage snapshots or repository backups.

GFS for Application Backups — Now you can script and manage GFS long-term retention for SQL Server, Oracle RMAN, and SAP HANA backups with new dedicated GFS settings in PowerShell.

Veeam Data Cloud Vault Archive — Configure new Veeam Data Cloud Vault Archive repository via PowerShell and use it in your workflows to backup and restore from.

Application-aware processing for Universal CDP — Automate configuring application-aware processing settings for Universal CDP policies in PowerShell to allow restoring application items from replica’s application-consistent restore points.

Malware detection analysis — Start malware detection analysis with a dedicated PowerShell cmdlet specifying event id and target folder path to save analysis results to.

Infrastructure Metrics — Manage external monitoring capabilities with a new set of PowerShell cmdlets that allow you to configure both Node Exporter and Syslog server settings.

SMTape integration — Adds end-to-end management of NetApp NDMP with SMTape for file-to-tape workflows, including enabling NDMP on the NetApp side, registering and administering NDMP servers in Veeam Backup & Replication tape infrastructure, and selecting NDMP volumes for backup. It will also allow retrieving NetApp NDMP volume restore points from tape and initiating volume restores.

Manage agent backups ownership — Use PowerShell to configure ownership of managed by Agent backups when a user’s laptop is replaced, so the new device can be granted access to backups created by the old device. This includes listing which backups are associated with a given agent and attaching/detaching same-platform backups.

Capacity tier support in evacuation cmdlet — Extends the existing evacuation cmdlet workflow so it can be started against capacity tier extents as well, enabling support to script repeatable evacuations when large moves fail due to timeouts or transient infrastructure issues. The approach is to unify performance and capacity extents under a common interface, so the same cmdlet can target either tier without requiring a separate parameter set.

Custom Role Assignment — Administrators can now assign custom roles to users for the remote console and WebUI directly through PowerShell, closing a gap from previous releases.
