Veeam Intelligence — With V13.1, Veeam Intelligence evolves from an AI assistant that answers questions into an intelligent operational companion that can investigate real backup data and help perform actions on your behalf, while keeping administrators in full control. New AI-powered capabilities streamline troubleshooting, automate routine operations, improve support interactions, and provide deeper insight into backup environments.

Experienced Backup Admin Agent — provides expert-level troubleshooting directly within your environment. Administrators can investigate jobs using natural language or launch analysis directly from failed sessions in the Web UI. The agent automatically analyzes job and session logs and works through issues using the same information typically reviewed by Veeam Support engineers.

Support Case Integration — extends this capability to Veeam Support interactions. The agent can review existing support cases, add comments, and proactively offer to attach relevant diagnostic data, reducing the time required to collect and submit troubleshooting information.

Actions for Veeam Backup & Replication — enable Veeam Intelligence to execute approved operational tasks. Supported actions include job control, infrastructure maintenance operations, component updates, repository management, configuration backup execution, license management, malware scanning, and selected recovery operations. All actions remain subject to workflow-based approval controls to ensure administrators retain oversight of critical operations.

Capacity Planning — adds predictive storage analysis capabilities to the Experienced Backup Admin agent. Administrators can quickly understand current storage consumption trends, forecast future capacity requirements, and identify abnormal growth patterns without creating custom reports.

Additional enhancements — include multi-threaded conversations for parallel investigations, suggestion chips that accelerate common follow-up actions, an improved Data Resilience Daily Summary (Morning Coffee Report) with enhanced retrieval and feedback mechanisms, significantly more accurate and reliable responses, and expanded accessibility through French and German localization as well as light and dark themes.

These capabilities are available with paid Veeam Universal License editions (Essentials, Advanced, and Premium) and represent the first step toward a broader set of AI-driven operational and recovery workflows in Veeam Backup & Replication and the Veeam Data Platform.
