Since the embedded Veeam Backup & Replication server is automatically registered in the VAO UI during installation, you will not need to connect it manually.
If you want to connect a standalone Veeam Backup & Replication server, proceed to the Deploy VAO Agent step, or skip it and follow the instructions provided in the Veeam Availability Orchestrator User Guide, section Connecting Veeam Backup & Replication Servers.
At the Deploy VAO Agent step, in the Server field, enter a DNS name or an IP address of the server that you want to register. Use the Type option to specify whether the server is a Veeam Backup & Replication server or Veeam Backup Enterprise Manager server.
