DELETE /backupServers/{ID}/passwords/{ID}

    Deletes a password having the specified ID from the backup server with the specified ID.

    Note

    You cannot delete a password that is currently being specified in properties of any job. To delete such password, you must first remove a reference to it in the job properties.

    Request

    To remove a password from the backup server, you need to send the DELETE HTTP request to the URL of the /backupServers/{ID}/passwords/{ID} resource.

    • application/json — the client must send this value in the header to accept the request in the JSON format.

    If the request does not contain the header, the server will return the response in the XML format.
