Before you start installing the product, make sure the machine where VAO will be deployed meets hardware and software requirements.

Hardware | DR VAO server: CPU: modern x64 processor, 2GHz x8 minimum (10 cores recommended). Memory: 8GB RAM minimum (10GB RAM recommended). Note: The provided requirements apply to 50 Veeam Backup & Replication servers connected to the DR VAO server, with 100 VMs per server, with jobs scheduled to run daily. For each 10 Veeam Backup & Replication servers connected additionally, you must add 1 CPU core. Production VAO server: CPU: modern x64 processor, 2GHz x4 minimum (6 cores recommended). Memory: minimum 8GB RAM recommended. Microsoft SQL Server to store VAO data: CPU: modern x64 processor, 2GHz x4 minimum (6 cores recommended). Memory: 8GB RAM minimum (16GB RAM recommended). |

Veeam Software | If a standalone Veeam Backup & Replication server is used for replication task management, it must be version 9.5 Update 3 or later. |
