Viewing Session Statistics

For each performed data protection or disaster recovery operation, Veeam Backup & Replication starts a new session and stores its records in the configuration database.

You can track statistics of all running and completed operations with:

Veeam Backup & Replication does not show indexing session statistics. For more information on indexing, see the Veeam Backup for AWS User Guide, section Enable EFS Indexing.

Veeam Backup for AWS Restore Session Statistics

Veeam Backup & Replication allows you to view statistics on data recovery operations that are initiated from Veeam Backup for AWS:

To view the restore session statistics, open the Restore Sessions window:

  • In the Veeam Backup & Replication console, open the Home view and navigate to Last 24 hours. In the working area, double-click the necessary restore session.

Alternatively, select the session and click Statistics on the ribbon.

  • In the Veeam Backup & Replication console, open the History view and navigate to Restore. In the working area, double-click the necessary restore session.

In the Restore Session window you will see the following information:

  • At the top of the window, Veeam Backup & Replication will show general session statistics: the name of the VM instance whose data is restored, the account under which the session was started, the session status and duration.
  • At the Reason tab, Veeam Backup & Replication will show the restore reason that was specified in the restore wizard.
  • At the Parameters tab, Veeam Backup & Replication will show information on the restore point selected for the restore operation.
  • At the Log tab, Veeam Backup & Replication will show a list of tasks performed during the restore session.
