A Microsoft Entra ID tenant is a dedicated instance of Microsoft Entra ID that allows the backup server to access Entra ID resources such as users, groups, administrative units, roles, applications, service principals, audit logs and sign-in logs.
After you add a Microsoft Entra ID tenant to the backup infrastructure, you will be able to back up this Microsoft Entra ID tenant and restore Entra ID resources managed by the tenant.
