Installing Veeam App for Splunk

Before you install Veeam App for Splunk, make sure that you add your syslog server to the Veeam Backup & Replication console. For more information, see Specifying Syslog Servers in the Veeam Backup & Replication User Guide.

To install Veeam App for Splunk, you can choose one of the following methods:

• If your Splunk instance has internet access, you can install the app from Splunkbase. For more information, see Installing App from Splunkbase.
• If your Splunk instance does not have internet access, you can install the app manually from the installation package. For more information, see Installing App from File.
