Installing App from File

To install Veeam App for Splunk from a file, perform the following steps:

1. Download the installation package from Splunkbase.
2. Log in to Splunk Web.
3. In the Splunk bar, click Apps and select Manage Apps. If you use the Splunk home page, click Manage in the Apps column.
4. For Splunk Enterprise, click Install app from file and select the installation package.

For Splunk Cloud Platform, do the following:

1. Click Upload App.
2. In the opened window, specify credentials you use to log in to your Splunk account and click Agree and Login.
3. After successful validation, select the installation package.

5. Click Upload. After successful package upload, restart Splunk Web if required.
6. To complete the installation, you need to configure data inputs. For more information, see Configuring Data Inputs.
