Adding Scale-Out Backup Repository to Infrastructure

To add a SOBR to your backup infrastructure, follow the procedure described in the Adding Scale-Out Backup Repositories section of the Veeam Backup & Replication User Guide. For more information, see the Scale-Out Backup Repository section in the Veeam Backup & Replication User Guide.

When configuring the SOBR, add a default Windows located at the EC2 instance, where Veeam Backup & Replication is installed, as a performance tier, and the previously added S3 object repository as a capacity tier extent.
