Deployment

Veeam Backup & Replication in AWS environment comes as an image of a Windows-based EC2 instance that you can deploy using one of the following installation options:

• Deploying Veeam Backup & Replication from AWS Marketplace — allows you to subscribe and deploy Veeam Backup & Replication in an EC2 Instance with most of the backup appliance settings configured out of the box.
• Deploying Veeam Backup & Replication from an Amazon Machine Image (AMI) — allows you to deploy Veeam Backup & Replication from an AMI.

The deployment of Veeam Backup & Replication in the AWS environment takes approximately 15 minutes.

After the deployment is finished, perform steps listed in After You Install to start working with Veeam Backup & Replication.
