Adding Microsoft Windows Servers

You must add to the backup infrastructure Microsoft Windows servers that you plan to use as backup infrastructure components and servers that you plan to use for various types of restore operations.

Before adding a Microsoft Windows server, check prerequisites. Then use the New Windows Server wizard to add the server.

1. Launch the New Windows Server wizard
2. Specify a server name or address
3. Specify credentials
4. Review components
5. Finish working with the wizard
