Restoring VM Files

You can restore specific VM files (VMDK, .VMX and others) if any of these files becomes deleted or the VMFS/NTFS datastore is corrupted. Instead of pulling the whole VM image to the production storage, you can restore a single VM file.

To recover VM files, follow the next steps:

1. Choose a file
2. Select a restore point
3. Select VM files and destination
4. Finish working with the wizard
