Configuring Initial Settings

Before you restore machines from backups, you must configure initial settings for Microsoft Azure in Veeam Backup Free Edition. As part of this process, you must perform the following tasks:

• Add a Microsoft Azure account.
• [For restore of Linux machines] Configure helper appliances in Microsoft Azure.
• [For restore process speed up] Configure an Azure proxy.
