You can remove helper appliances from Microsoft Azure, for example, if you no longer need to restore Linux machines to a specific location.
To remove a helper appliance:
- From the main menu, select Manage Azure Accounts.
- In the Azure accounts list, select the Microsoft Azure account and click Edit.
- Pass to the Helper Appliance step of the Initial Configuration wizard.
- In the Helper appliances list, select the helper appliance and click Remove.

Do not clear the Enable restore of Linux-based computers check box at the Subscription or Publish Settings step of the wizard to remove helper appliances. In this case, the Initial Configuration wizard will not display the Helper Appliance step. Helper appliances themselves will remain in Microsoft Azure. |
