Configuration

To start working with Veeam Backup & Replication, perform a number of steps:

1. Add Veeam Backup for Google Cloud appliances to the backup infrastructure.
2. Add repositories that will be used to store backed-up data.
3. Configure the added Veeam Backup for Google Cloud appliances:

1. Add service accounts to authorize requests to Google APIs. For more information, see the Veeam Backup for Google Cloud User Guide, section Managing Service Accounts.
2. Add projects and folders to get access to Google Cloud resources that you want to protect. For more information, see the Veeam Backup for Google Cloud User Guide, section Managing Projects and Folders.
3. Add users to control access to Veeam Backup for Google Cloud. For more information, see the Veeam Backup for Google Cloud User Guide, section Managing User Accounts.
4. Create worker configurations. For more information, see the Veeam Backup for Google Cloud User Guide, section Managing Workers.
5. Configure global retention and email notification settings. For more information, see the Veeam Backup for Google Cloud User Guide, section Configuring General Settings.
