About This Document

This document describes the features included in Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 deployed in Amazon Web Services (AWS). It also provides a usage example and gives step-by-step instructions on how to install Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 and monitor backup infrastructure, services and jobs for your Microsoft 365 environment.

Intended Audience

This guide is intended for IT managers, virtual infrastructure administrators, backup administrators and other IT professionals who plan to deploy and use Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 in the AWS environment.

This guide assumes that users have basic knowledge of AWS EC2, Managing VPCs and understanding AWS IAM as well as Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365, Windows Server and Microsoft 365.
