Architecture Overview

The Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 in AWS architecture includes the following:

• Components of the AWS environment

Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365

The following schema demonstrates Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 components that a single simple Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 installation comprises.

Make sure that a virtual machine that you plan to use as the Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 server meets the system requirements. For more information, see Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 System Requirements.

AWS Environment

AWS environment includes VPC, AWS EC2 instances, AWS S3 repository, and gateways. The Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 server is deployed on a single EC2 instance.

Make sure that your AWS environment meets the configuration requirements. For more information, see Environment Configuration Requirements.
