You cannot add or remove parameters for default steps provided by Veeam. This option is available for custom steps only. |
To modify default parameter settings for a plan step:
- Log in to the VAO UI as a VAO Administrator. For more information, see Accessing VAO UI.
- Switch to the Administration tab.
- Navigate to Plan Steps.
- In the Steps column, select the step and click Edit.
- Complete the Edit Default Step Parameters wizard:
- At the Step Parameters step:
- In the Step Parameters column, select the required parameter.
- In the Parameter Details column, set the desired parameter values.
- At the Update Existing Plans step, choose whether you want to apply the configured settings to all plans created for all scopes at the same time.
- At the Summary step, review the configured settings and click Finish.

The parameter settings will be changed only for plans that are NOT in the IN USE mode. For the list of modes that an orchestration plan can acquire, see Running and Scheduling Replica Plans, Running and Scheduling Restore Plans and Running and Scheduling Storage Plans. |
