Enabling and Disabling Maintenance Mode
You can enable maintenance mode in the Mine cluster when you need to upgrade AOS, reconfigure cluster settings, expand the cluster or perform any other tasks that may affect backup operations.
To enable or disable maintenance mode, log in to the Mine console, click Maintenance, and click Enable maintenance mode or Disable maintenance mode. To verify the maintenance mode status, open the Mine dashboard and check whether the Maintenance mode on label is displayed in the cluster widget.

When the cluster enters maintenance mode, all currently running backup jobs are stopped and disabled automatically. When the cluster exits maintenance mode, the backup jobs are enabled and then started according to the specified schedules. If you want to start a backup job immediately, do it manually as described in the Veeam Backup & Replication User Guide, section Starting and Stopping Jobs. |
