Step 7. Specify Veeam Backup & Replication Deployment Settings

At the Veeam Backup & Replication Deployment Settings step of the wizard, choose whether you want to deploy a new Veeam Backup & Replication server or connect an existing one:

• If you select the Deploy New Veeam Backup & Replication Server option, you must also upload a Veeam license file.
• If you select the Use Existing Veeam Backup & Replication Server option, you must also specify the IP address of the backup server and provide credentials of a local Windows Administrator configured on the server.

Note that in this deployment scenario, the foundation server will deploy a Windows VM that will be assigned the role of a backup proxy. The VM will be used to process some jobs and to deliver backup traffic to a number of repositories.
