Guest OS File Recovery

You can use the cmdlets in this topic to perform the following operations.

Start-VBRLinuxGuestItemRestore

Restores Linux-based or Unix-based guest OS files.

Stop-VBRLinuxFileRestore

Stops Linux-based or Unix-based guest OS files restore.

Copy-VBRLinuxGuestItem

Copies Linux-based or Unix-based guest OS files to the target host.

Start-VBRWindowsFileRestore

Starts Windows VM guest OS file restore session.

Get-VBRWindowsGuestItem

Returns Microsoft Windows guest OS files.

Start-VBRWindowsGuestItemRestore

Starts a restore of Microsoft Windows guest OS files to the original machine.

Copy-VBRWindowsGuestItem

Copies Microsoft Windows guest OS files to the target host.

Stop-VBRWindowsFileRestore

Stops guest OS file recovery session for Windows-based machines.
