Detailed Description
This cmdlet rescans Dell EMC VNX storage volumes from the backup infrastructure. Veeam Backup & Replication uses this process to synchronize the state of the backup server with storage systems state and to get information about new snapshots created on storage volumes.
Run Sync-VNXHost to rescan an entire Dell EMC VNX storage system.

The cmdlet will not notify you in case Veeam Backup & Replication fails to perform a rescan. |

Example
This example shows how to rescan a Dell EMC VNX storage volume added to the backup infrastructure.
- Run Get-VNXHost to get the storage system. Save the result to the $storage variable.
- Run Get-VNXVolume with the $storage variable to get the Dell EMC VNX volume that you want to rescan. Save the result to the $volume variable.
- Run Sync-VNXVolume with the $volume variable.
