NAS Backup Support

You can use the cmdlet in this topic to perform the following operations.

New-VBRNASInstantRecoveryMountOptions	Creates a mapping configuration for instant restore of NAS backups.
New-VBRNASPermissionSet	Creates a permission set for instant restore of file share backups that will be used if the file share backup does not contain security information.
Start-VBRNASInstantRecovery	Starts an instant restore of backups created by the file share backup job.
Get-VBRNASInstantRecovery	Returns active instant restore sessions started to recover backups created by file share backup jobs.
Stop-VBRNASInstantRecovery	Stops an instant restore of backups created by the file share backup job.
Convert-VBRNASBackupRootFormat	Converts backups created by one file share backup job for separate non-root shared folders residing on the same server into the backup created for the server single root folder.
Convert-VBRNASBackupSANFormat	Converts backups created for SMB or NFS file shares residing on an enterprise NAS system into the format of a NAS filer share on the same storage system.
Convert-VBRNASBackupStorageFormat	Converts format of baskets used for storing backups created with file share backup and file share backup copy jobs.
Get-VBRNASBackupSession	Returns NAS backup job sessions.
