Backup as a Service for Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365

Veeam Service Provider Console allows you to create and manage Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 jobs and monitor Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 servers located in client and hosted infrastructures.

As a Managed Service Provider (MSP), you can perform the following Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 operations in Veeam Service Provider Console:

• Managing Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 servers
• Configuring and managing Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 jobs
• Monitoring and reporting on the status of Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 jobs and servers

You can manage Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 in Veeam Service Provider Console in the following scenarios:

• In the hosted scenario, the Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 servers are located in the service provider infrastructure.

This scenario is recommended when the client company does not have Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 servers in their infrastructure, and wants to use the Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 resources of the service provider to protect their infrastructure. • In the client scenario, the Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 servers are located in the client infrastructure.

This scenario is recommended when the client company has Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 installed in their infrastructure, but wants to store data backups off-site, or wants the service provider to manage their data protection operations.
