Managing and Monitoring Veeam Backup & Replication

As a Managed Service Provider (MSP), you can perform the following Veeam Backup & Replication operations in Veeam Service Provider Console:

• Managing Veeam Backup & Replication servers
• Managing Veeam Backup & Replication jobs
• Managing local and cloud failover plans, and performing full site failover in case of a disaster
• Monitoring and reporting on the status of Veeam Backup & Replication jobs and servers

You can manage Veeam Backup & Replication in Veeam Service Provider Console in the following scenarios:

• In the hosted scenario, you can allocate Veeam Backup & Replication resources located in your infrastructure to client companies, and assign the Veeam Backup & Replication jobs that target these resources to the companies.

This scenario is recommended when the client company does not have Veeam Backup & Replication installed in their infrastructure, and wants to use the Veeam Backup & Replication resources of the service provider to protect their infrastructure. • In the client scenario, you can manage Veeam Backup & Replication servers located in the client infrastructure.

This scenario is recommended when the client company has Veeam Backup & Replication installed in their infrastructure, but wants to store data backups off-site, or wants the service provider to manage their data protection operations.
