Adding Objects

To be able to view and restore archived records, you must first add to Veeam Data Cloud Salesforce Extension a Salesforce object that contains these records. By default, the most commonly archived objects (Case and Task) are added automatically during product installation.

To add a new object, do the following:

  1. Switch to the Page Layouts tab.
  2. Click the Add icon in the Objects section to expand the list of all available Salesforce objects. Then, select the necessary object and click the Create icon.
  3. Repeat step 2 for each object whose records you want to be shown to users.
