Step 2. Specify Veeam Backup for AWS Appliance

At the Veeam Backup for AWS step of the wizard, specify the Veeam Backup for AWS appliance. This appliance will manage the infrastructure to which you want to add an S3 repository.

From the Appliance drop-down list, select the necessary Veeam Backup for AWS appliance. A new S3 repository will be added to the infrastructure managed by the selected Veeam Backup for AWS appliance.
In the Repository name field, enter a name for the repository. Note that Veeam Backup & Replication will assign this name to the folder that stores the backed-up data.

In the Description field, enter a description for future reference.

The default description contains information on the user who added the repository, date and time when the repository was added.
