Configuring App

After you install Veeam App for Microsoft Sentinel, perform the following operations:

1. Make sure you connect your Microsoft Sentinel workspace to the Microsoft Defender portal and use it as a primary workspace. For more information, see this Microsoft article.
2. To collect Veeam data through Veeam REST APIs, deploy the Veeam Data Connector and configure connections with your Veeam servers.
3. Configure data collection rule for syslog messages.
