Deleting Groups

You can delete static and dynamic groups, either predefined or custom.

Deleting Static Groups

Before you delete a static group, make sure it has no associated categorization rules. If a static group contains one or more categorization rules, delete the rules first and then delete the group. For details on deleting rules, see Deleting Categorization Rules.

To delete a static group:

  1. Open Veeam ONE Business View.
  2. Open the Configuration tab.
  3. In the menu on the left, click Groups.
  4. Choose a category in which you want to delete a group.

All categories are shown as tabs at the top of the group list. To delete a group within a specific category, open the necessary tab.

  1. Choose the necessary group in the list and click Delete at the top of the group list.
  2. In the displayed dialog box, click Yes to confirm deletion.

Deleting Dynamic Groups

To delete a dynamic group:

  1. Open Veeam ONE Business View.
  2. Open the Configuration tab.
  3. In the Configuration menu on the left, click Groups.
  4. Choose a category in which you want to delete a group.

All categories are shown as tabs at the top of the group list. To delete a group within a specific category, open the necessary tab.

  1. Click Grouping Expressions at the top of the group list.
  2. In the Edit Grouping Expression window, clear the Expression field.
