You can delete static and dynamic groups, either predefined or custom.
Deleting Static Groups
Before you delete a static group, make sure it has no associated categorization rules. If a static group contains one or more categorization rules, delete the rules first and then delete the group. For details on deleting rules, see Deleting Categorization Rules.
To delete a static group:
- Open Veeam ONE Business View.
- Open the Configuration tab.
- In the menu on the left, click Groups.
- Choose a category in which you want to delete a group.
All categories are shown as tabs at the top of the group list. To delete a group within a specific category, open the necessary tab.
- Choose the necessary group in the list and click Delete at the top of the group list.
- In the displayed dialog box, click Yes to confirm deletion.
Deleting Dynamic Groups
To delete a dynamic group:
- Open Veeam ONE Business View.
- Open the Configuration tab.
- In the Configuration menu on the left, click Groups.
- Choose a category in which you want to delete a group.
All categories are shown as tabs at the top of the group list. To delete a group within a specific category, open the necessary tab.
- Click Grouping Expressions at the top of the group list.
- In the Edit Grouping Expression window, clear the Expression field.
- Click OK.
