Modifying Groups

You can modify properties of static and dynamic groups, either predefined or custom.  

Modifying Static Groups

To modify properties of a static group:

1. Open Veeam ONE Business View.
2. Open the Configuration tab.
3. In the menu on the left, click Groups.
4. Choose a category in which you want to modify a group.

All categories are shown as tabs at the top of the group list. To modify a group within a specific category, open the necessary tab.

5. Choose the necessary group in the list and click Edit at the top of the group list.

Alternatively, you can double click the group in the list.

6. In the opened window, change the necessary group properties.

7. Click OK.

Modifying Dynamic Groups

To modify properties of a dynamic group:

1. Open Veeam ONE Business View.
2. Open the Configuration tab.
3. In the Configuration menu on the left, click Groups.
4. Choose a category in which you want to modify a group.

All categories are shown as tabs at the top of the group list. To modify a group within a specific category, open the necessary tab.

5. Choose the necessary group in the list and click Grouping Expression.
6. In the Edit Grouping Expression window, specify an expression that Veeam ONE Business View must use to create groups and distribute virtual infrastructure objects in these groups.
