Step 7. Specify Instance Names

    [This step is available if you have selected the Restore to a new location, or with different settings option at the Restore Mode step of the wizard.]

    At the Name step of the wizard, you can specify a new name for each restored Amazon EC2 instance:

    1. In the Machine list, select the necessary EC2 instance.
    2. Click Name.
    3. In the Change Name window, specify a name under which the EC2 instance will be restored.

    Alternatively, you can simultaneously modify the original names of multiple EC2 instances:

    1. In the Machine list, select the necessary EC2 instances.
    2. Click Name.
    3. In the Change Name window, do the following:
    1. If you want to add a prefix to the original EC2 instance names, select the Add prefix check box. Then specify the necessary prefix in the text field.
    2. If you want to add a suffix to the original EC2 instance names, select the Add suffix check box. Then specify the necessary suffix in the text field.
