Step 3. Specify Tenant and Retention Settings

At the Tenant step of the wizard, select a Microsoft Entra ID tenant and configure the retention policy:

From the Tenant drop-down list, select a tenant whose resources you want to back up.
In the Retention policy field, specify the number of days to maintain restore points. Veeam Backup for Microsoft Entra ID will keep all restore points created during the last N days.

When the number of days is exceeded, the earliest restore point is removed from the backup chain.
