Step 1. Launch Restore Applications Properties Wizard

To launch the restore wizard, do the following:

  1. Open the Home view.
  2. In the inventory pane, select the Backups node.
  3. In the working area, expand the backup job that protects the tenant data that you want to restore.
  4. Select the necessary tenant and click Entra ID Tenant Restore on the ribbon. Alternatively, you can right-click the tenant and select Restore.
  5. In the opened window, check that the Applications tab is selected.
  6. Select an application or service principal whose properties you want to restore.

Tip

To find an application or service principal by its display name, you can use the search field.

  1. Click Restore > Metadata comparison.
