Veeam Data Cloud for Microsoft 365
Product Overview
Veeam Data Cloud for Microsoft 365 is a SaaS solution that allows you to back up and restore your Microsoft 365 data, including Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft OneDrive for Business and Microsoft Teams data. The solution allows VCSP partners to deliver data protection of Microsoft 365 workloads utilizing a first party SaaS solution, to their end customers. This provides choice to partners who want to deliver data protection for Microsoft 365 and do not want to build, operate and manage a service or sell licenses to the end customer.

Licensing
Veeam Data Cloud for Microsoft 365 is licensed per user. There is no need to generate or install a license file manually as Veeam Data Cloud for Microsoft 365 is seamlessly integrated with VCSP Pulse.
Each workload under protection consumes the license at a rate in alignment with the VCSP Rental Point Per Unit (PPU).

Usage Reporting
A daily license usage report is generated once a day. It includes quantity changes for each subscription.
A monthly license usage report is generated on the first day of each month. It includes the number of monitored workloads for the past month. Usage for these workloads can be tracked using the User counter.
The overall usage based on high watermark license consumption over the month must be submitted through VCSP Pulse. For more information, see Submitting License Usage.
