You can add all unprotected VMs to a protection domain. To add unprotected VMs to a protection domain, do the following:
- At the top right corner of the main menu, click the gear icon and select Manage AHV Cluster.
- Select the AHV cluster and click Auto-Protection on the toolbar.
- In the VM Auto-Protection window, switch the Auto-Protection slider to the Enabled state.
- Expand the list of protection domains by clicking the + icon next to the cluster address.
- Select a protection domain where you want to add the unprotected VMs.
- Click Save.
All unprotected VMs will be added to the selected protection domain.
