Deployment

You can download Veeam Backup for Microsoft Office 365 installation package from the official Veeam website.

The installation package contains the following installation files:

Veeam Backup for Microsoft Office 365
Veeam Explorer for Microsoft Exchange

If you want to use Veeam Backup for Microsoft Office 365 in a hybrid Exchange deployment or in the On-Premises organization and plan to use SPN and Kerberos authentication, it is recommended that you install Veeam Backup for Office 365 within the same domain where an Exchange server is deployed and provide the access to the domain controller.

Deployment Important!

If you have been participating in the public beta testing program for Veeam Backup for Microsoft Office 365, be sure to uninstall the pre-release versions of Veeam Backup for Microsoft Office 365 and Veeam Explorer for Microsoft Exchange. Also, delete the content of the archive repository folder along with the C:\ProgramData\Veeam\Backup365 directory before running the setup.
If you want to use Veeam Explorer for Microsoft Exchange that comes as part of Veeam Backup & Replication, make sure that you are using Update 3.
