You might need to install SSL certificate when configuring RESTful API settings or enabling authentication with organization credentials.
Specify what kind of certificate you want to use for encrypted SSL connections. You can select any of the following options:
- Generate new self-signed certificate.
- Select certificate from the Certificate Store of this server.
- Import certificate from the PFX file.
Provide a friendly name for your certificate. Default is Veeam Software AG certificate and click Finish. A new certificate will be generated and its data will be displayed in the corresponding fields in the REST API tab of the Options dialog.

Certificates created by this feature are not originated from a trusted Certification Authority (CA). Users will be notified about that when establishing a connection to your service. |

Specify the path to the .PFX file and click Finish to close the wizard and return to Options.
