Editing and Deleting Credentials Records
You can edit or delete existing cloud credentials records.
Editing Credentials
To edit a credentials record:
- From the main menu, select Manage Cloud Credentials.
- Select the credentials record in the list and click Edit.
- Edit settings of the credentials record as required.

You can use the Cloud Credentials Manager to change the password for a tenant account provided by the SP. For more information, see the Changing Password for Tenant Account section in the Veeam Cloud Connect Guide. |
Registering New Azure AD Application
If you created a Microsoft Azure Compute account using the Create a new account option, you may need to register a new Azure AD application instead of the already created one. For example, the secret key of the created application got expired or the application was deleted.
To register a new Azure AD application, use the Reconfigure account functionality:
- Edit the necessary credential as described in the Editing Credentials section.
- At the Subscription step, click Reconfigure account.
- In the opened window, enter credentials of an existing Azure user account. Note that the user name must be specified in the user principal name format (username@domain). Also, the user must have privileges described in Before You Begin.
- Back to the Microsoft Azure Compute Account wizard, click Finish.
Veeam Backup & Replication will register a new Azure AD application and will use this application to communicate with Azure.
Creating New Google Service Account
If you created a Google Cloud Platform service account using the Create a new service account option, you may need to create a new service account instead of the already created one. For example, the service account was deleted.
To cretae a new service account, do the following:
- Edit the necessary credential as described in the Editing Credentials section.
- At the Account step, click the Log In link.
- In the opened window, log into your Google Cloud account.
- Back to the Google Cloud Platform Service Account wizard, click Finish.
Veeam Backup & Replication will create a new service account and will use it to communicate with Google Cloud Platform.
Deleting Credentials
To delete a credentials record:
- From the main menu, select Manage Credentials.
- Select the credentials record in the list and click Remove. You cannot delete a record that is already used for any component in the backup infrastructure.
