Managing Veeam Service Provider Console Agents
To manage Veeam backup agents, Veeam ONE, Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 and Veeam Backup & Replication servers in Veeam Service Provider Console and perform discovery of computers in client infrastructure, you must install Veeam Service Provider Console management agents on machines where Veeam products are deployed. Veeam Service Provider Console management agents can collect data, perform management and configuration tasks on managed machines or perform discovery in client infrastructure. If you want to manage Veeam Backup & Replication servers hosted in your infrastructure or Veeam ONE and Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 servers hosted in client infrastructure, you must deploy Veeam Service Provider Console management agents manually on these servers. To manage client Veeam Backup & Replication servers, connect servers to Veeam Service Provider Console as described in Connecting Veeam Backup & Replication Servers. To manage Veeam ONE and Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 servers hosted in your infrastructure, use Veeam Service Provider Console plugins. For details, see Plugins and Integration. Integration with Veeam Service Provider Console is available for Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 version 6 or later and Veeam ONE version 11a or later. |
In Veeam Service Provider Console, you can perform the following tasks with management agents:
- Obtain management agent setup file
- Deploy management agents
- Upgrade management agents
- Set a master agent for discovery
- Accept and reject management agent connections
- Set company to management agents
- Reboot computers on which management agents run
- Restart management agent service
- Collect data from machines hosting management agents
- Uninstall management agents
