The monitoring criteria for this configuration are:
- 1 vCenter Server should be connected
- All clusters, hosts and VMs will be monitored
- High-availability data collection backend is not required
In this example, it is assumed that all Veeam back-end components have been installed as detailed in section Single-Server Installation.
This deployment model is suitable for evaluation, proof-of-concept, or monitoring a small/medium deployment (less than 500 VMs) where a single Collector server can accommodate the monitoring load, and collection redundancy is not required.

Collection redundancy and/or monitoring of a larger environment can be accomplished simply by installing and registering additional Collectors to the configuration below. For details see the Installation Guide. |
