Restoring VMs Using Backup Appliance Web Console

In the Nutanix AHV backup appliance web console, you can restore a Nutanix AHV VM from backups and snapshots to the cluster where the original VM belongs.

To restore a protected VM, do the following:

Check prerequisites and limitations.
Launch the Full VM Restore wizard.
Select a restore point.
Choose a restore mode.
Specify a new name for the restored VM.
Select a container where VM virtual disks will be stored.
Configure network settings.
Specify a restore reason.
Finish working with the wizard.
