Restoring VMs Using Backup Appliance Web Console

In the Nutanix AHV backup appliance web console, you can restore a Nutanix AHV VM from backups and snapshots to the cluster where the original VM belongs.

To restore a protected VM, do the following:

1. Check prerequisites and limitations.
2. Launch the Full VM Restore wizard.
3. Select a restore point.
4. Choose a restore mode.
5. Specify a target cluster.
6. Specify a new name for the restored VM.
7. Select a container where VM virtual disks will be stored.
8. Configure network settings.
9. Specify a restore reason.
10. Finish working with the wizard.
