Step 4. Configure Retention Settings
At the Backup Destination step of the wizard, specify the number of restore points that you want to keep in a snapshot chain. If the restore point limit is exceeded, Veeam Backup for Nutanix AHV removes the earliest restore point from the chain. For more information, see Snapshot Retention.

To instruct Veeam Backup for Nutanix AHV to execute a custom script while running the PD snapshot job, click Advanced, then, in the Advanced settings window, select the Run the following script to create a PD snapshot check box and click Browse to upload a script file.
